Midway.......

At the mid-point + or - a week....this is how I see it shaping up:

* AFC East.....Pats win.....the Jets have a tissue paper schedule.....but the Pats always get strong late into the season.

* AFC South......Colts win.......like always.

* AFC West......????? not sure.....Denver/Chargers......I'm leaning towards the Chargers.

* AFC North......Ravens win......Steelers and Bengals have VERY disappointing seasons.

________________________________________________________________

* NFC East.......Giants win.......but the Eagles will make a run.

* NFC South.......Saints win.......Carolina will be nipping at their heels.

* NFC West........Rams win......Seahawks just don't seem to be clicking without their 2 most important players.

* NFC North.......Bears win......the rest of the division is just not at the same level.
________________________________________________________________

I know it may seem that I'm just picking "front runners"......but that's not how I evaluated them.......it's just the way I see it.

Also.....its too early to declare playoff winners......the teams are still morphing.

Just trying to get some football talk going.

You just WANT the Rams to win because of the Seahawks 1st rounder going to the Pats.

I want it too, but I doubt it.

AFC East- I agree with the Patriots. They're good enough to win their less than stellar division before the Jets turn into a legit contender next season. For now they look like a fourth seed who will probably get bounced in the first game by an AFC West team.

AFC South- Easy choice but far less easy to say with any accuracy at which point in the playoffs the Colts will play their typically uninspired game.

AFC West- The Chargers with Tomlinson who in my opinion is MVP. Plummer is too much of a liability.

AFC North- Baltimore

NFC East- Dallas or New York.

NFC South- I'm still don't think New Orleans is as good as their record. I think Carolina pulls it together and makes a run.

NFC North- Chicago goes as far as Grossman takes them.

NFC West- Seattle because they proved they can still win without Hasselbeck and Alexander.
