Although I really haven't been around that long, and I sure as sh1t won't miss it, I am bidding farewell to these forums as I prepare to welcome in the new ones.

the link from the homepage should reflect this change at some point today. As of right now though you are free to join, post, and set up your profiles.


The new forums support images in the signatures, avatars, and a host of other features.


I am sure that you all just want to get into the private room, so as soon as you register, find and post by me (JetBlackNinja) or Tustar, and send us a PM requesting access, we will grant access as fast as we can.

Probably, either that or it will have an "opt in" when you first join.

Opt in will miss the stupid people. Gotta have them too!


 


Having it available as a room on the front page as a locked board would probablby be best.


When a new user clicks on it, will it then send a request for entry to a mod?

Naw, the subtitle will say "please PM a mod to request access". So it will be as obvious as possible.

It is, unhiding that, and switching off the filter for that room are "on the list" though.

We do have "sticky threads" in other forums explaining it to people so that will have to do for a day or so until I can get back in and make changes.
