da bears are the nfl. no papa bear, no nfl. overall ratings soar even higher than normal when the bears are doing well. just count the retired jerseys in the stadium. we own the hall of fame with the most inductees.

granted, we go into hibernation for about 20 years like clockwork, but when we awaken we destroy. at least when we go to the big game, there's no doubt who should have won.
