GUMBEL'S REMARKS

Who agreed with gumbel when he said what he said on Real Sports? (incidentally, his ego is at least twice as big as T.O.'s) I did, anybody else?

Gumbel is a smart guy...real smart...But he also is an A-hole. Why the NFL network would hire this prick...beyond name recognition.....has me spinning. If you want to interject personal views, politics or an agenda.....on a HBO show fine.....I can turn that channel. But if I want to watch a game that is exclusive to the NFL Network.....I'll be forced to listen Gumbels rants and babble.

Lets face it Football, beer, wings and Gumbel dont mix

Never minded Greg Gumble. Think he's pretty down to earth. Bryant Gumble on the other hand is an uppity pompous little twit.

His remarks were way too inflamatory for public consumption considering he has a deal pending with the very people he kicked in the balls with his comments.......stupid.

I hope the NFL axes his deal to do games on the NFL Network for two reasons:

A) It would be the right thing for the NFL to do.

B) Bryant Gumbel sucks even though he's incredibly impressed with himself.

Hey folks,

Remember the time when he was hosting "The Early Show" on CBS, and he interviewed someone who was affiliated with the Boy Scouts, and as the show was about to head to commercial when the interview ended, the whole nation heard him utter "What an @$$hole!"  So it's pretty clear to me that this guy also has problems abiding by the ethical standards of his profession.

Yes, he's an unbearable prick but, he's also RIGHT!! NFL players are far more at risk for career ending injuries and have the shortest average careers of all the major pro sports. considering those facts alone says that they would benefit the most from guaranteed contracts and they are the only ones without them gumbel is an egomaniacal prick, but he's right

Gumbel... oh gawd u freakin' numnutz!? Who pays your salary bud? Why does this guy continue to land sports reporting gigs? He has everyone else doing the info-gathering and he reads it. What a dicksore. Smarmee, pretentious, smug, Princeton wannabe cheesedick.

Taco don't delete this.
