I hate Joe Thiesman

Long before I ever joined or started reading this site, i would many days sit on my couch and home and literally scream at the TV that ol' Joe didnt know that the **** he is talking about.  Recent example,  Joe shows his balls and refuses to call out the referees with Mike and Tony on the horrendous call on Sean Taylor (changed the game, let the Vikings win).  instead saying, sometimes you get the flag on reputation.  If we get 400000 people to write to ESPN (oh wait we cant) maybe then they would fire that idiot.  Hes almost as bad as (and NFC North fans can relate) Bill Maas.  Ill never forget him screaming at mooch to challenge a play that was unreviewable.  Do these guys have other jobs or what?

And he was PRAISING Lord Favre in the Peckers' preseason game vs. the Bengals, despite how TERRIBLY he and his football team played in that game!

I admit, im a Brett Favre fan, but i also find it a little rediculous when they annoucers go nuts on someone that isnt playing well.  If hes making great throws then fine.  but i dont like it when anyone showers someone with accolades for how they used to play.  unless they arent playing anymore, of course.  Theisman does lots of really rediculous things with no basis at all.

I agree, I think Theisman is the biggest moron. I have no idea why ESPN keeps him around...obviously he is cheap. Sure sometimes he can provide some insight as to what a QB goes through, but for EVERY other position, he is clueless. He doesn't know when the proper time to challenge is. He doesn't know the rules of challenging. Sh1t he doesn't know what he is doing.

I also agree about Maas. Such and a$$hole. My hatred started one game when he kept saying "you can't defend a perfectly thrown ball" over and over again. It was fine for him to say once when it was a well thrown ball and they couldn't defend it, but he kept fukin saying it and saying it. He was saying it when there wasn't a perfectly thrown ball. A$$hole.

I concur with the title of this thread. Between Thiesman and Madden ("only brett fahrve can make that throw") ARRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

But to complete the topic we must add the other Joe idiot

Joe Buck is a smarmy, holier than thou, sanctimonious dick head. But thats just my opinion. No wait, thats a fact! I can no longer watch FOX pregame...he just bugs me too much!

Anyone watch the Vikings Panthers game, Bill Maas annoucing.  What a ****in idiot.  I didnt keep notes or anything, but a few points come to mind.  Screaming for a replay on a play he thought he saw a big block, but when he got the replay there wasnt one there.  Circling the timeouts for us so that we would really believe that they didnt have any.  He should be fired 14 times over by now

Anyone ever listen to Joe Thiesman, then look at the power lines outside and wonder which would suck worst...listening to Joe for a whole football game or touching those power lines just to see how it feels?

If Joe Thiesman is so offended by Ricky Williams playing for the same CFL team he did, why isn't he offended by Michael Irvin working for the same network he does? Both are freakin drug addicts and have recently been busted. Irvin's case is even worse because he has criminal charges against him. Williams is just in trouble with the NFL. Seems like yet another hypocritical point on his chart.

It ws nice to see PFT throw some criticism the way of Bill Maas.  Without a doubt the dumbest announcer of all time.  I challenge anyone to come up with someone worse.  I've seen Bill Maas say things so rediculously untrue, my neice will say, they cant do that can they.  and im like no sweetie, Bill Maas left his brain at home before he went to work today.

We probably won't see another anouncer as bad...unless G.W. Bush decides to become an annoucer.  Nothing against the Prez, but that could actually be very comical.
