Check out the Delhomme fumble in OT. They reviewed it and overturned it. It's the tuck rule times 100. And also check out the so called block in the back on Derrick Brooks INT return for a TD. The refs are just making up their own rules. Officiating is at an all-time low.
Im tired of hearing people b@tch about the refs, too many people are blaming the refs for their teams losses, the truth is Delhommo (is he ever going to throw a TD pass) had many opportunities to win that game, so if you want to blame that loss on someone blame it on the players, coach, or your organization... Ever since the Steelers win in the SB all people can talk about is how the refs determined the outcome of the game, which plain and simply is horsesh#t...

Hey Einstein, I had no rooting interest in that game. Did you even see the play?
don't know what you were watchin but that call was even worse than the one several yrs. ago when the faders got screwed against the pats-- and yeah, if the refs didn't get in the way the vikings would have had the ball at around the cats 30 and kicked a gimmie and game over-- you are right about your superbowl victory-- that's really just coach waldo hommy seahawk and espn trying to stir up trouble.
What about last monday when Sean taylor got his awesome "reputation call" then the viking that did it later didnt even get considered for the penalty. I dont care who wins that game, but tell me that didnt change the outcome.
taylor played out of control-- he led with the helmet-- front view reply showed it crystal clear-- later-- same player yanks chester taylor-- the running backs face mask, again crystal clear-- the play you're sayin the vikes got away with-- the throw by brunnel sailed high and out of the field of play-- no contact made, refs hardly consider uncatchabes when handing down penalities-- coach gibbs was a beggin at that late stage--vikings won that 8 ways to sunday. you're buyin espn spin if you think that was rep calls-- have fun with your sportcenter garbage!!

The ball was on the fingertips of the reciever and hes helmet went into the front of the body, and it was a clear shoulder hit. he was maybe a half step late, but the guy wasnt out of bounds or anything like that. And the play after that when the vikings were driving he hit him in the back of the head, and drilled him. By the way I watch my highlights on NFL network, i think they are more extensive there. And why is everyone so angry on this site, you cant simply disagree with someone? Because i have a different opinion, (and it isnt jjust my own) you attack me like i just called your kid ugly. chill out
The refs blew the call, but it just goes to show that had Mighty Mouse been playing today, it would not have been a contest. Pantyliner fans should be getting in line to rub smith's hamstrings! While they don't have the toughest schedule for the next few weeks, losing builds confidence in your opponents. I dare say they need to have 3 wins on their record before they go see the Ravens or it's gonna get real ugly.

in response to your stuff-- referring to the s. taylor plays in that perticular game as reputation is why he's flagged, get real, he's as cheap as they come but, yes, they were penalties and were called as such. the vikings played much better than the skins and that was why they won. the brunell pass play was high and wide and wouldn't have connected w/ or w/o contact by the defender. i have the game on tape and though i am a vikings fan, i'm objective when they win as well as when they lose--people here are generally pretty cool, but knitt-pickin for a player in s. taylor situation, uh-- i don't know, he's very talented, yet he made some bad decisions in the game. last thought-- the vikings were solid all around in that game, they earned and received the win. ps. the reputation stuff came from espn's joey sunshine-- not nfl network.

I'm a Pats fan so most of the crappy calls go our way, yet they are still crappy calls.
I'm not whining, because I am winning, but they are still BS calls. No doubt that officiating has been AWFUL for at least 2 seasons straight.
That Delhomme "incomplete pass" against the Vikings was the worst fu*king call since Morelli reversed Polomalu's pick against Manning in the divisional playoffs. It is a classic example of a ref looking at a play 50 times trying to see something that didn't happen. Thank God the Vikes pulled that game out because if they didn't it would have been a travesty. I thought replay was suppoesed to be "definitive evidence to overturn call on the field." What happened against Minny clearly violates this process.
I beleive replay is a necessity in the NFL, but these calls are out of control. There clearly was no evidence that sugessted Delhomme was attempting to throw a pass.
The personal foul and roughing the passer calls are truly sickening. If the poor officiating and protection of players continues at this rate, it could be the downfall of the NFL.
Allow me to say it AGAIN! Bad Call? Yes. The reason they lost? Maybe. Did the lack of Steve Smith have more of an impact on the outcome of the game? NO DOUBT!!! There is at least one atrocious call every week and they have determined the outcome of games BUT, In the Pantyliners' case, ONE player makes all the difference between 0-2 and 2-0 and that's not good. In any case, the players have to not leave it in the hands of the refs in the first place! Bad (or good) plays determines the outcome of games WAY more than bad (or good) calls.

Tell that to the 2005 (should be World Champion) Seahawks. I am sure they disagree.
Wasn't that jerramy stevens dropping sure TD's in that game? Wasn't it the coaches who failed to see the trick play coming (cowher tries one EVERY game) that won the game for the steelers? The refs did blow calls in that game, but bad play(dropped passes) and poor preparation(cowher tries one EVERY game) did more damage than the refs did.
