I guess the Washington Redskins are being sued by the Advocates of the Hearing Impaired because they do not provide closed captioning at FedEx Field for the deaf. I guess this is a bit of irony here because I think anyone who is deaf going to a Skins game is actually lucky they are deaf. Those who go to the game with good hearing will leave deaf. Washington is supposedly the 1st or 2nd loudest stadium in the NFL, its not like the deaf folks are missing out on anything anyways. They want closed captioning to hear yards gained/lost, penalties, things of that sort, but all in all, people with perfect hearing probably won't be able to hear those things because of how loud it is there.
Trust me I am a Chiefs fan and it gets pretty fukin loud at Arrowhead, I can't hear sh*t afterwards for about 4 or 5 hours. Looking at hand signals for first downs, touchdowns and those kinds of things is what fans at LOUD stadiums have to rely on. And nothing against the deaf because I have family that is deaf, but if you don't understand hand signals by refs, coaches, players, you shouldn't be at the fukin game because obviously you don't know the sport. I am a fat Chiefs fan, but I am not going to sue the KC Chiefs organization because they don't have something to cart my ass to my seat from the parking lot, or better yet, have a BBQ vendor right next to my seat so I don't have to get up to actually go get it. Hopefully, the US District Court throws this out on the conditions of being completely and utterly retarded. We are too politically correct anymore these days and it makes me sick. I cannot even work in a workplace where I can get sexually harrassed anymore, its horrible. So I pray that the government doesn't try and make football become more politically correct.
Oh, I guess you are right. We should agree with PETA, Greenpeace, Al Qaida and every idiot thing that John Madden says. I guess that is a tad extreme, but even dealing with the "ADA", I think this is a very lame issue to bring to the US Court System.
Besides, how are you going to be able to drink beer and read at the same time??? Still hope this gets thrown out of court.

Most of those things are fringe causes, not major laws.
People who are blind, deaf, whatever have it rough enough d1ckhead, what's your problem?
Am I missing something here? Is the Jumbotron not viewable from all seats? What devices in any other stadium (aside from the scoreboard...obviously) are there to suit the needs of deaf people?
I mean what would they have to do to accomodate this request....a running ticker tape of the in game announcer?
I appreciate your opinion Black Ninja, that's good feedback. I do not have a problem, I am just expressing my opinion as you are and your feedback is welcomed. Remember, I have family members that are deaf, I am not completely insensative to their needs by any means. I think the Advocates of the Hearing Impaired are barking up the wrong tree here going after the NFL. Personally, I would like to see them find a way for closed captioning at movie theaters, interpreters at Broadway plays, music halls and things of that sort. I think your statement that this is a "clear violation of the ADA" is opinion for now, unless you are the judge to rule on this case.
My point is that people who can hear that are at an NFL game normally doesn't hear much of what is going on anyways because of crowd noise. I rely on hand signals from the ref, the big screens, the scoreboard and gestures of players and coaches and those things help me make up for what I cannot hear. Why is it so hard to believe that a person who is deaf shouldn't be able to do the same thing? I may be a d1ckhead because I am bias and I am not deaf, but I think there are greater issues for the Advocates of the Hearing Impaired to work on before they go after the NFL.
