Tampa Bay and their QB

I would start Bruce Growdowski.  I know they are already 3-0 but Simms is doing NOTHING to inspire the team and it isnt all his fault.  Maybe Bruce, who has a bigger arm that Simms, can come in and shake things up a little, and who knows.  But In my opinion, it doesnt get worse from here, its already bad.  I think they should go with the kid for a few games, maybe he can completely take over from here.

I'll bet that the Bears phone is ringing this morning.

What do you think it would take for the Bears to trade Griese back to Tampa and forego the security of a solid backup qb?

I'm guessing that they are or would be offerring a very pretty package. Say a second round draft pick and or a player swap?   hmmmmm.

screw that...give em Orton for a second....and a player!...put your dick on the chopping block don't blame me for chopping it off. I don't remember anyone bending over to give the Bears a QB when they needed one last year....now we got 3 and they can all go fuk off

He was in camp but never practiced because of the shoulder. One of the reporters asked Gruden if he was an option now and Gruden said no because he just had another shoulder surgery recently.

my question is, what the hell happened to Gruden? was he just a flash in the pan or is the GM/front office that horrible?

Gruden is an OK coach who only motivates half his players (the ones who want someone screaming in their face all the time)  The players that need different motivation dont get it, so Gru as they call him, its just a prick who happens to like football.  Kind of like Go Bears Galason;)  Just kidding man.  Real Real Real good to see the Bears beat the Vikings by the way.

I think Gruden is a pretty good coach overall...but He won with Tony Dungy's team

If Gruden won the Super Bowl with Dungy's team then how come Dungy couldn't win with Dungy's team? The answer is because in 2002 it wasn't Dungy's team.

George Seifert won with Walsh's team.
Barry Switzer won with Johnson's team.

Those coaches took over powerhouses who were coming off a superbowl win in the 49ers case and 1 play away from 3 championships in a row in the Cowboys case. Gruden took over a 9-8 team.

Well, Tony Dungy can't win a championship with his team in Indy either! He's the kind of coach that gets a team heading in the right direction, but he's not somebody (at least not right now) that able to get a team over the hump.

It was Dungys team.......Gruden didnt make any DRASTIC personnel changes...he tweaked it. And it paid off. What didnt pay off was what they had to give away via draft picks to get Gruden...or the cap hits that followed. Not all Grudens fault....I admit...but still an issue.

Grudens problem is his ego. He is a good coach. But he kills young players...especially QB's. He runs them into the ground (Cadillac)...most attempts. But he had Pittman on the bench who averaged the same as the Cadillac.....but ran him into the ground. Now Simms?????
