the match part 1

OK Saturn...let the games begin. Its Mcnabb VS TO... the phili defence against the Dallas offense...it's time for football.

But the Way Mcnabb is playing Phili will be tought to beat this weekend. Dallas will have to limit turnovers and hope to hold Mcnabb down abit. Seems as though the Eagles are on a roll. I wonder if the trash talking NINJA will have anything to say about this game???

LeRoy! week five has arrived! any way you slice it, this is gonna be fun!!!!

reggie brown hurt his shoulder last night, and donté stallworth only played in the first half, so we're WAY short on receivers.

i think these teams are gonna beat the crap out of each other.

you've framed the game as birds d versus cowboys o: i can't see the cowboys NOT putting up mad points in this game.

but i think that the birds o versus the cowboys d is an equally intriguiging matchup: it'll take a little while longer for the birds to figure the cowboys d out. we need westbrook badly, especially with brown and stallworth hurt.

i think the cowboys jump out to a two touchdown lead but the birds creep back in and the game comes down to an akers field goal.

gonna be a dawgfight!!!!!!!!

ninja's off in some laurence maroney heaven, no doubt.

I am, I won't lie. I am more impressed that goons like Chad Scott and Atrell Hawkins came off our bench and silenced the Cinci offense, but Maroney was pretty fun to watch.

As much as i would like the boys to kick butt, I think that the home field advantage will be hard to overcome. Somehow I think the game will revolve around a turnover and not the kickers.

It will be interesting to see the TO effect.

I think the score will be 21- 17 (more than a field goal)

Bledsoe is so inconsistent just about anything could happen. The Eagles are coming off of short rest but the game is at home so I really don't know about this one. I do expect something to happen though that involves more than just the boo birds getting on Owens. Either someone will throw something at Owens or Owens will react directly to the crowd or Owens will light it up and shut the whole stadium up...Something will happen.

before we talk about the game, i gotta do some braggin about somethin else: this summer, someone on this message board asked when the first t.o. sideline meltdown would be. i called it: oct. 8, at the Linc., after not getting the ball enough. seems obvious, now, doesn't it?

so hey, look at me...gimme a friggin' medal.

btw, did i mention i'm from the a$$ pit of the world?

now, the game: Leroy! where you at? no gloating from me, man.
that's gotta be one of the best regular season games i've ever seen.

probably one of the best games i've ever seen mcnabb play, too, if not THEE best.

only one thing's clear to me now. dallas is gonna be tough to beat on christmas.

i have more respect for bledsoe now, than i did before, too. that was an all-day assault on a qb. the birds hardly ever let up. he hung REAL tough. most qb's would've folded under that kind of barrage, or at least they woulda wound up on the bench by the end of the game. his o-line oughta be ashamed. imagine if the birds had kearse in there, huh?

great game...great game. much respect to the cowboys.

Well, Saturn, it was a good game, but way too many turnovers to say it was great. What made it exciting was that even though both teams had problems, in the end, either team could have won.

You have to hand it to the eagles, as they had a good game plan on defense. If you look at my first post, I said that i thought the phili defence against the Dallas offense was the key.

I felt that the Dallas Defense would hold it's own against the Phili offense, but the key would be the Phili defense. I still don't understand why Dallas didn't go into the spread on obvious passing situations(in the second half). It would have given Bledsoe a second to throw the ball away, when he saw the blitz comming. they did the spread on that final series, and had more success moving the ball than they had the second half.

coach bill says that he will make the proper adjustments for the return match. Remember, he who lives by the blitz can die by the blitz.

Bring on december for a rematch
