Kurt Warner announced he may retire after this season, didn't he retire years ago? This is the most over rated player in the history of the NFL. He had arguably 3 good seasons, really only 2. When Faulk was hurt, Warner was average at best. Let's not even talk about when teams blitzed and got to him. Don't get me wrong, his story will make a great movie of the week on the Christian Television Network, or even Lifetime, but this guy is no HOF. When Warner gets in the game this Monday, and he will get in, how many times will he fumble the ball? Let's stop making a story out of this guy and get back to the real questions, like when will Lord Farve announce he is actually going to retire, and when will NFL teams finally give up on having T.O. try to break up their roster?
I don't think Warner is overated at all. He is pretty much considered a band aid qb who is expected to little else than provide veteran leadership while the team gets their guy for the future ready. In New York and Arizona the change came sooner than later and I doubt any team would want Warner expecting him to come in and be the starter. Warner is a good teamate but he is not a good starting qb any longer. If he would realize that and accept it he would make a good backup in Arizona. If I were Leinart I wouldn't mind being tutored by Warner.
I would stand on that sideline for 2 million dollars a year no problem. In fact, i formally offer any team that wants me to, that i will stand on the sideline and you can pay me. I was a QB in high school, so i have work expereience. I have never been arrested, so that puts me higher than half the other applicants, and when and if i have to play, im AMAZING at handing the ball off. Let me know.

Sorry to tell you Pink Taco, but there's less of a chance of being picked up in the NFL because you are an outstanding citizen whose never been arrested. And I am going to agree with Raven 100% here. Kurt Warner has never been extraordinary, but he's been good enough to win a superbowl and I don't care how remarkable Torry Holt and Issac Bruce are, you have to have some skill to win a superbowl and Kurt does indeed have an arm on him. I met him in Iowa and he is as nice of a guy as you would have thought he would be. I agree, he needs to retire, but he does have a great story and I can't bet it won't be on Lifetime.
