In Green's post game press conference he pretty much called the Bears frauds. That makes this win so much sweeter for me. I have a poem for him myself...
Hey pinktaco...wipe our boy butter off yer face bud.....
I know you cant stop jerkin off at 6-0. but besides a weak Seattle team, who have the Bears played? Nobody. and they will probably be 8-0 too. Write your nobel winning poetry after they beat a team with a winning record. And for the record i dont doubt the bears, They will probably be 14-2 and in the second round of the playoffs, after that, ill leave the predicting to you guys. Superbowl right?
unbelievable game....I figured I would wait until today to give a rational and sober take on this game, last night I was neither.
Props out to the Cards, it was a big game for them and they were ready to play. The Defense did a very nice job, and the offense looked well prepared. The first home Monday night game in how long? But they did in the 4th qtr what the Bears did in the first 3 qtrs....fell asleep and got too confident.
It seemed to me that the Bears had no real game plan on Offense or Defense. I think they had discounted the Cardinals and thought they would just wing it.......they looked unprepared and semed to me they were looking past them to that off week, too many people were giving them that game.....perfect trap game and they did thier best to fall in it. Lovie got outcoached last night and no-one to blame but himself.
That said, you Bear haters might want to take note.....after playing 3 Qtrs of bad football (both sides of the ball) and being down 23-3, the Bears D woke up and took over. Gentlemen that was 21 points scored in the 4th quarter....BY THE DEFENSE! Talk about deciding to take a game over and then getting it done. Name me another D that could do that in spite of 6 TOs from the QB and absolutely no offensive help? Not to mention that when they did it, they did it without M. Brown, Manning or Whale, they are deep on D.
I have been saying it since the draft, that Devin Hester would be a major factor this year, combining a major returner with that D was going to pay off. I predicted 3 returns for TD from Hester when he was drafted (but then i assumed he would be returning kicks and punts)...kid has 2 already, with more to come, but few will be bigger than that one last night.
The only way the bears win this is beacuse 'zona is so horrific at finishing the game. 6 Forced Turnovers = 13 points? What's wrong with this picture? How do you get that many turnovers and not be able to put more points than that on the board. They left over 26 points on the field last night.
They shoulda told Edge to worry about running the ball next game and went 4 wide. Hell James isn't that bad of an option out of the backfield, but noooooo they decide 'Hey we don't like Offensive Line continuinity lets put some new O-Linemen in this game and try and run on them. We'll be able to put away this game!'
The Cardinals are ran by friggin morons, and only because of those morons do the Bears win. Too bad the Bears don't have many good teams on their schedule.
And just a closing pot shot: Of the 3 games you guys have played on the road, you struggled with 2 of them. Can't wait till the playoffs to see you guys bounced in the first or second game you guys play.
How do the Cards score so little off turnovers? Could it be because they were playing the league's best defense?
The offense gave the Cards a short field the whole game and after messing up the first drive, the defense did a pretty good job to stop the bleeding considering the great field position Arizona was getting due to turnovers.
as far as this retarded quote:
"And just a closing pot shot: Of the 3 games you guys have played on the road, you struggled with 2 of them. Can't wait till the playoffs to see you guys bounced in the first or second game you guys play."
It makes no sense. It's more than likeley that the Bears will have homefield advantage throughout the playoffs since they will be the first seed, so why are you bringing up road game struggles in this argument?
Nice Name Timmy. Last I checked only chinks, fags, and child molestors keep the y on the end of their name after 8th grade. which are you, you fukn hack?
You should shut your mouth before I show up at your house on christmas day and stick my cok in yer mommas mustachioed mouth...you know, the mouth that should have spit you on the floor.
Timmy...I'm being ripped by a guy...calling himself....Timmy..What am I in the fukn twilight zone?
My bad, let me clarify the closing pot shots for ya:
1) Your team has struggled on the road to beat 2 medicore teams out of the 3 road games you've played. Showing in fact your team is quite beatable and if you really played anyone on the road (the East coast road trip should be interesting), your record wouldn't be as good as it is.
2) Can't wait to see you guys lose in the first or second game you guys play in the playoffs. With the expection of the SB Tampa Bay team, no team has won a SB playing the Cover 2. In fact all the teams playing the cover two didn't even make it to their respective conference championship games last year. Nice gimicky defense for the regular season. But as we saw last year regular season records don't mean much.
Say what you want about Da Bears being legit or not, it doesn't matter. They're gonna be hard to beat. What I saw last night proved to me that Leinart is the real deal. Tennessee and Oakland should be shooting themselves right now

Matt Leinart looked like a calm, cool veteran...until Rackers missed the field goal. Not to sound like a Bear hater cause I am not, but my team, the "Chefs" came back against the Cards in the desert last week and no one said we were a brilliant team. I think it was apparent last night that the Bears O is what will take them down eventually. Regardless, I am glad the Bears are doing good. Chicago's a great city and with the Bull's blowing like they are, they need some kind of sports team playing well.

Leinart did look damn good. I was thoroughly impressed. He will be a quality QB for years to come.
I kind of look at this game as proof positive that good teams somehow find a way to win, and bad teams find a way to lose. Rex served up 6 turnovers and the Cards only got 23 points out of them. That credit needs to go to the Bears D. For all those who poo-poo'ed Urlacher saying he's over-rated, need to watch a tape of this game. He virtually single handedly won this game for the Bears. The Bears will have some soul searching to do in the bye week. They just narrowly escaped impending doom with gritty tough play and a little luck. Yep, the Bears are beatable. But you better kill them dead, because they will put up a fight until the bitter end. And yes Denny, you may know the Bears. But we all know the Cards...and they suck.
PS - hey, the Bulls aren't looking that bad with Big ben Wallace in the midle!
Yeah, I gotta agree with you Mr. Swerki, the Bears coming back shows their not going down without a fight. It shows their character. Oh yeah, and whoever said Urlacher is underrated should put on some pads and run some BRT or string out drills against him. He's a bad mother.

He just need sto find better ho's to bang than Paris!
i like your team. i really do. nice running game, linebacker oriented d...i love that stuff.
and for awhile, your city was like a second home to me (used to play in a band that gigged alot at dreamerz, the loungeax, the empty bottle, and the cubby bear).
even though i'm a birds fan, i've been known to root passionately for the bears on occasion as a result of my affection for your town, fogbowl notwithstanding.
so what i'm about to say is not coming from a 'hater'.
your team barely beat the ineptly coached effin' CARDINALS...
barely.
sure, you've got a cake schedule, and so there's plenty of cushion for righting the ship, but after a performance like last night's there's hardly any call for gloating, or "feeling" the "magic".
i mean, really, you should be embarrassed, if not alarmed, by the way your team played.
but i guess there's something about a miracle comeback, no matter who it's against, that puts a "team of destiny" vibe out there. i mean, if the bears had won routinely, would you be writing poems?
Talk about the EAGLES having problems playing 60 minutes of football, take a look at what the Cards did last night!
As far as da Bears offense is concerned, I wouldn't be so quick to rush to judgment about it over 1 bad game. Let's see how they do after the bye. If it begins to sputter over the next few weeks, or if they have a poor showing against the Niners, then I'd be concerned. However, I fully believe that they'll be able to get back on track. But, let's take a look at the BIG picture: The team is 6-0 and they have a well-deserved bye this week. So...GO FIGURE!
I mean every team has some struggles where they can't get it together for a few quarters (sometimes the whole game). So Long as the folks on the other side of the ball can keep it together during these times, as you can now clearly see, things will go well.
Plain and simple. Rex doesn't deal with blitzing/pressure very well.....yet From what I've seen, our offensive scheme has very few plays to deal with a team that brings it. My guess is that they will institute something other than the 5 yard slant in future games to mitigate blitzing. Keep in mind that Grossman is very young into his career. Let's give him time to make some adjustments before we dismiss him as a failure. One bad game does not a bad quarterback make.
The guy has had 5 good ones fersh1tsakes and everyone here is all over him. Fukn Hilarious.

i agree...i'm not saying they're gonna play like that the rest of the way. but i'm sure you'd agree: their ineptitude was glaring. the bears didn't play 60 minutes in that game either.
But above all else, a performance like THAT, by a team that is supposed to decimate EVERYBODY in its path, a narrow escape against an eternally $hitt-ay team coached by the number one contender for the title of Lord Choke-ington of Mediocrity, does NOT warrant gloating, crowing, or any other form of "yeahhhhh BAY-BEE" type victory celebration.
nor does it warrant poetry, regarded as the highest form of expression by the ancient greeks.
instead, a win like that warrants humility.
i mean, vanni, if the birds beat the cards like THAT, would YOU gloat? in the words of our fat-a$$ed mormon coach, "heck no".
