Purple...thanks for winning that game!  Now the Bears may get a little more credit for beating a solid Minny team at home!  ;)

It's kind of interesting to see SEA fall apart...there really seems to be something to the thought that losers of a super bowl really struggle the following year.  They really were a lock for their division...now it looks like they'll be battling STL.

So, you guys have NE coming in next Monday night.  How you feeling about this one?  I think it should be a good one.

New Englands issue this year is an all new receiving crew. It has been a learning process thus far between Brady and all the new receivers so it hasn't been too good yet.

With that said......I've been seeing improvement and this week against Buffalo I saw some significant improvement. Run/Pass balance was dead even too. The passing game looks as if it's starting to come around now.

They have a very good running tandem with a healthy Dillon pounding the ball and this new kid Maroney is dynomite once he gets into space.

The defense is very solid particularly stuffing the run.....and of course they're always good at showing different looks and morphing to/from 3-4/4-3 etc......and generally screwing with opposing QBs head. The secondary has solidified after all the injury BS they went through the last couple seasons and getting Rodney Harrison back really helps.

I would rate the Pats at this point as "a good solid team". They play excellent fundamental and situational ball and don't make many mistakes. If they get up on a team early it's a real battle to beat them. They are still getting some new skill position guys up to speed.....but the lines are first rate on both sides of the ball. By the end of the year I expect they'll be hitting on all cylinders and ready to make another run at the Lombardi. They are not at that level yet though.

I have not seen a Vikes game yet.......tell me about them.

Yeah, glad they beat Seattle.  Hopefully Seattle comes to Arrowhead feeling all down and out.  Nothing again Seattle, but it would be nice if KC beats the NFC Champs.

Abso-freakin-lutely OUR PLEASURE, to beat the hawks. I am sorry Hassle got hurt, I always liked that guy. However, is, that, a little....RESPECT for my beloved purple? Thank you! I seem to remember the last meeting being a leeeetle bit of slug fest, and just MAYBE my offensive line is FINALLY getting it together???? <saying quick prayer>

Vanni

This year is kind of like being a kid on Christmas, you kind of don't know what the next package will bring you! On one hand -historically- we are a fiendish hard to beat at home - we have, in the past, played up or down to our opponents. But THIS year...I honestly think this defense can play with ANYONE. Much respect to Tom Brady and co. It's gonna be Minnesota Monday Madness next week!!! Minny wins it becasue of my unwavering fanatical faith and 24-17

Back in the saddle

In a word. D E F E N S E ! Our offense is hardly gonna freak anyone out but it is efficient. 38 yr old very smart QB who doesnt make alot of mistakes. Got us a couple of great Kickers- we STOLE out punter Kluwe from Seattle last year, lured Longwell to proper side of the river from Greenbay. Running game is coming online and; bless him; our coach is COMMITTED to the run. TO me, been a fan since waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back thisis a return to what i grew up on. Minnesota football , old school.

BigBoy

Well, we did our best, they now have no running game and the passing is pretty well decimated too, the rest is up to you! And I do know waht yo mean, it was pretty tasty to crush 'em good!

I said the Vikes would be solid this year, despite B. Johnson.

By the way, after watching Chester Taylor during his career in Baltimore, I can only describe the guy in one way:  A Pain in Da A$$
