I know this isn't a football subject, but none the less i will bring it up. I sit here well intoxicated, got notified tonight that i am going to be a grandpa, to a new little Bears fan. My son in law is from Wisconsin and a Packers fan, but i'm sure my grandson will have better sense than that, hate to disown the little crumb snatcher before I get to know him...LOL, so I am in drunken celebration tonight....wonder if I can get them to name him Butkus?
probably not, but you can at every holiday give the boy nothing but Bears related gifts. I do that for Cub fan friends who are raising their boys gay cub fans.
Uncle Erick showers them with Sox related clothing and material .....every holiday.
I think Vincent is an appropriate name. Vincent Lombardi....not sure what your last name is. It's a good strong name. That way, you can raise him to believe the Lombardi Trophy was named after him....kids are so gullible!! I also think Brett is a good name. But seriously, congratulations.
Hey, you should give him a normal name, but give him a nickname at birth and raise him with the belief that is his name....like Chump (Champ) and Bust (Boss) Bailey.
Well...the kid isn't a hardcore Packers fan, doesn't even watch thier games, but due to brainwashing he prefers the Packers. Damn kid bought me a cheesehead when they were visiting his family this summer, so at least he has a sense of humor. They met at a rodeo...kid is a bullrider, so he isn't all bad.
Uncle E has the exact right idea, kid will be swamped with Bears stuff. Thinking about making my daughter pipe in the Bears fight song to the little tyke while she is carrying him... LOL...as the only grandpa in the area (he doesn't get along with his family at all) I think I will cast a HUGE shadow. Like I told the wife, here we go again....pee wee football...peewee wrestling...Martial arts tourneys...heehee
This sounds like it should be an ongoing mission for you......a 'calling' of sorts. It sure would be helpful if the child-to-indoctrinated doesn't live in enemy territory.
sorry Taco....not one of the options. As a matter of fact I have been banned from the naming process entirely, I drunkenly suggested Berfert (attempted humor) and got banned, so there you have it. Child is being raised in friendly territory, no real connection to cheeseland. A Bears fan it will be!
Our neighbor has a Basset Hound named Berfert (great name for a hound), not usually a big drinker but I play euchre on Thursday nights at the bar across the street and have a few then...my big night out! home by 11:00 (although I did party harder last night, but I'm sure the news had something to do with it)

WTF is "euchre ". I consider myself a man of the world and somewhat intelligent (us germans hold Oktoberfest in September...just to fuk with the italians and the tourists)....but the word euchre has never hit my ears. I hope its a drinking game involving shots, losing clothing and big breasted women
unfortunately none of the above....a card game based somewhat on the French card game Ecarte, played mostly in the Midwest and the Penn/New York area...mostly by German/Americans strangely enough
Last year I was at the Oktoberfest. The wifes uncle was the German embasador to India. The embassador asked me if i wanted to direct the band......of course I said yes.
I had them play "stars and stripes" ....while I downed 100 ounces of beer...on stage..the crowd went wild.
Purple is DEFINITELY not the right color...LOL....and left ace is a wonderful hand to go alone on, if ,like you said, you're well lubricated. Thanks for the good juju, my wife is a charge nurse in the ER so my daughter is under constant scrutiny, and the fact that she lives across the street really ices it, almost constant care

he is going to piss you both off and be a vikings fan.
