Your entire post was a personal attack, a jab here or a ribbing there is fine, but I really don't have time for people who don't debate, and just attack. At that point, that is what you were.
That said, the Steelers are about to loose the very thing that kept them from beating the Pats in 04', and keeps them from being the Team of the Decade... Cowher.
It was not Roth-lisp-burger's jitters that lost that game, it was horrid offensive play-calling. He went for it on forth in the FIRST QUARTER... against the friggin' Patriots? They got stopped cold, the ball got stripped, we recovered but the Steelers never did.
Replace Cowher with someone who is not a complete moron, and you still have time to challenge for that "Team of the Decade" title.
You're right Ninja, it wasnt Roethlisbergers jitters, it was the fact that he was a banged up rookie in the AFC Champ. game, who was used to playing 11 game seasons...I dont blame Ben or Cowher for that loss, we got beat bad, plain and simple, it happens to even the best coaches and players, sort of like the Steelers kicking the sh*t out of the Patsies that regular season...
If the Steelers had converted on that 4th down, and the momentum was different, then Cowher would have been called a genius, its the nature of the beast for an aggressive NFL coach...The only play call of Cowher's that I ever questioned was the onside kick against the Colts during the regular season last year...Yeah, Cowher is a moron with a SB ring, and the best winning percentage amongst current NFL coaches, I think that speaks for him...
Speaking of that AFC championship game between the Pats and the Steelers, I'd have to admit that I honestly feel that the Pats were CLEARLY the better team going into that game (remember they were actually a 3 point favorite in the game). In the week before, the Steelers barely escaped against the Jets (who gave them all they could handle) while the Pats shut down arguably the leagues most prolific offense in a dominant 20-3 victory over Indianapolis. Bottom line...In the Pats-Steelers AFC Championship game, the better team won.
