bennett is got something left in the tank. great breakaway speed, good hands. a little iffy on the durability though. when he was one of us coach meathead liked to coach with his heart instead of his brain, and that left bennett in the doghouse cause he wasn't "tough enough". i thought he'd be great in childress' system, i was surprised we didn't keep him. but we do have a stable , right?...
phole??? are you a vikings fan??? did you ever watch michael bennett play football. he was awful and didn't stay healthy. he is a pu$$y that likes to roll around in is H2 because he thought he was the ****. the only reason he was drafted by the vikings was because of Dennis Green. Robert Smith had just retired and Denny wanted a fast player so he drafted bennett without paying attention to his actual football skill. Bennett has no vision and by no vision i mean i would rather have Ray Charles running the ball for me.
Bennett was a total waste of a pick and a total waste of money. I am so glad that guy is out of minnesota.

ISU, I seem to remember you viking fans loving Bennett during the 2002 season when he rushed for 1296 yds and 5 TD's, and 351 recieving yds...the rest of his carreer was plagued with injuries, but when he is healthy he is a decent back, how quickly you Vikes fans forget...
Yeah I have to admit Bennett's career as a whole has lacked any semblance of decency. When he's not hurt, hes running like he is. And when hes healthy the guy cant find holes. Hes a very very fast north south runner.
his lack of patience when it comes to hitting holes is what kills him. believing that he was going to beat the tackle to the punch, rahter than waiting for an opportunity to develop, make the adjustment and go. We all know what type of speed he has/had.
Though his unspectacular career (aside from his injuries) could have been the result of them restricting his ability to make adjustments....Though I don't see this as being the case considering that his quarterback was Daunte Culpepper (who used to run like a rabbit with its balls in a rat trap)every other play. so maybe he just plain sucked?
and, I'm not a big proponent of sub 4.3 40 backs. Look at the greatest backs in history. Very few ran in that range. Most good backs fell into the 4.4 to 4.6 category. Most plays are made within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage in traffic. That doesnt mean speed, that means elusiveness and stealth was the contributing factor to their success. Getting to the line too fast is only good when running off tackle...sometimes. Sometimes you will shoot a tackle out block the lb. MR speedy would run right past the blocking tackle and blow up the play.
I have hated michael bennett since the day he arrived in minnesota. And i don't forget i just know that the guy is a f@g that had one good season in rushing yards. With all of those yards he still only found the endzone 5 times. I would rather have a guy with less yards and more touchdowns and the vikings went 6-10 that season. He is not a good running, and he goes around looking for 16 yr old girls to f in the wendy's parking lot. he can't stay healthy and won't be a starter in the nfl ever again. maybe a backup getting maybe 10 carries a game but thats it.
