Everytime I see the back-up (what's his name...Matt Shaub...or something like that), I say to myself this kid is a better QB than the way-over-hyped "King Vick".
King Vick is a tremendous athlete....but NOT a tremendous QB. When I see interveiws with Coach Mora and listen to effusive platitudes about King Vick it makes me want to hurl. I'm not drinking the Koolaid.
The entire league is aware that Vick is not that great and that Schaub can toast him. The problem is that Mike Vick sells Jerseys and seats, and in the grand scheme of things that is as important as anything else.
Some day Mora will take his head out of his a$$ and realize that Vick would make a much better RB, or slot reciever, till then he will be talking every year about how much better Vick is grasping the West Coast offense compared to the previous seasons...
