Ok, let's discuss RBs. We all know the top 3 RBs: Johnson, Alexander and LT.
One RB that seems to be around late is Dominic Rhodes. Aaddi (sp?) seems to be picked ahead of Rhodes and he is #2 on the depth chart. Aaddi could take over the #1 spot, but when? week 8 or 9? That is most of the FF season. I will use last years situation as a precedence. Cedric Benson was picked ahead of Thomas Jones in some FF drafts and Jones came out on fire. He solidified his spot after 3 weeks and never looked back, injuries aside. What about getting the combo of Rhodes and Aaddi? Then you are gaurenteed a starting RB all year.
Jamal Lewis is another RB that was around in the 4th and 5th round. Why? He finally has a QB that will require more then 1 person in coverage. Miike Anderson is listed as a FB on the depth chart. Lewis will be a 1500+ yard back again, you heard it here.
I agree about the lewis thing. He is one of the value picks in the draft. Most pay no attention to him until 4th or later rds. He had a rough year last year, I fully expect him to go back to his punishing style of running and have a 1400 plus 12 TD year.
I don't think so....he'll rotate with Davenport and Gado...him and Davenport are on 1 year contracts, so there is no major investment. Plus did you see that line play?...if they continue like that Green Bay may be the only team in the NFL to have negative yds rushing for the season...LOL
