If you want to call those teams over-rated that's fine. It's all relative until the season gets under-way. Although I don't think I've actually heard anyone say they thought Minny would be good other than Minny fans.
However, Favre best QB of all time? You've obviously been eating too much cheese.
If we go by rings, Montana, Bradshaw, Elway and Aikman (even Brady) destroy him to name a few. If you go by numbers Marino destroys him. No mention of Unitas? Shows your lack of football knowledge. Hell, Bart Starr is better than Favre.
You're not going very far out on a limb saying the Bears have no QB's up there. We've not had one since McMahon, and he wasn't all that. But, in fact, we do have agreat HOF QB, Sid Luckman.
by the end of this year brett will be number 1 in ever qb catagory even intercptions which is nothing to brag so marino does not destry him but montana had rice, brett had ???? robert ferguson, robert brooks, freeman, bill freaking I run the wrong route schroder come apples and pie come on.

Ha...haha...ha...nice try...
Marino holds what, 14 records. Thats pretty good. In fact thats the best.
Favre holds 3. Not as good your right. If you look at the records, theres probably 4 records where Favre will bump Marino this season. That takes Favre to 7, and Marino to 10. Favre will probably get the INT record also. Thats 8 for Favre, 10 for Marino. Add that to the fact that Marino has thrown about 1000 more attempts than Favre has, the numbers are close. Not quite the destruction you make it out to be.
Now, I still think Marino is the best all-time. Favre is definantly top 5 though.
Who the hell counts rings. Trent Dilfer has a ring, but Manning doesn't. Thats a crap way to measure a QB.
Overrated teams...I'll go with the Baltimore Ravens, because, like I said before, I don't think Steve McNair will improve the team as much as many people think.

The single season/ all-time interception record is not exactly something to be proud of... plus Farve has really been hurting his reputation the past few years with the retirement speculation, he's coming off more and more selfish which is something that fans never want to see particularly from a future HOF QB.
Farve definitely isnt the greatest ever, there are plenty more accomplished QBs than him. If you're trying to say that Montana was only good because of Rice then say it, although such a presumption is completely ridiculous. It would be much more fair to say that they were spectacular players and that playing with eachother made them even more special.
Plus I dont believe many of the teams you listed are rated very high to begin with, the Bears need more offense or there 8-8 at best b/c you can count on the defense to completely carry them again.
The Vikings were decent last year even with all the problems they had. I could see them to continue to compete in such a weak division, but if you think they are completely horrible you're probably wrong. Once the o-line gels they have the skill players to get it done and the defense is about average, plenty good enough to get it done in the NFC north.
What are people thinking of the Falcons? They got a little better in the offseason, but the best thing they could hope for is a michael vick injury so that matt schaub can give them an actual passing attack. Still they're the 3rd leg in a 3 team race in the NFC south.
I don't think the Bengals are overrated. After Palmer's nice and healthy looking performance(against the Packers) on Monday night I believe that offense is going to put a lot of pressure on opposing offenses which plays right into their defense's hands which is as last year showed, more than capable of making a 1 dimensional offense pay dearly in their attempts to keep pace with the explosive bengal's offense.

Bingo. I agree and think Atlanta is the most over rated team. Basically it's all HYPE linked to Vick. They WOULD do better with Schaub.
Brady's 3 rings make him a first ballot lock. If he had never won a SB people would never talk about him as a HOF'er.
So SOMEBODY is counting rings!
Brady is not a first ballot lock. He will get in for dam sure, but not on the first try. I don't think your beloved Billy B. would still be HC if they hadn't won SBs and your right, no one would no who Brady is.
Armitron:
I never, nor would I say such a thing about Montana. He was one he11 of a QB. I agree, to say that Rice made Montana is rediculous. No one made Steve Young, Montana, Marino, and no one has made Brett Favre. Brett Favre makes recievers.
I look at guys like Aikman and Brady who are HOFers because of the teams around them. They have their own great skills sure, but you can't honestly say that Tom Brady or Troy Aikman would have won SBs on the Detroit LIons or New Orleans Saints of recent years. He11, look at Archie Manning. He would have been one of the greats if he'd had Irvin & Smith or the Patriots defense. But you reverse it, and how many non-SB QBs would have won SBs in Brady or Aikman's place? Several. Throw Chad Pennington or Jake Delhomme in their place and I bet the results would be similar. Not saying Brady is bad, because he is a great leader and a great manager, but he gets just as much hype about being the "Ultimate Warrior" as Vick gets about being "the future of the NFL....someday...".
