I agree with 1 packer fan, they won't give him the opportunity to throw the 20 he needs. McCarthy has said it over and over, he is going to establish the run first.

AS a packer fan, i cant say "because they will run more, because they tried running already (anyone watch the bears game???)  and he still threw two of them, i have to say, that i think that he will be under, because either, A) they will start winning, haha I know, or b) they might sit him down.  I really dont see him going over 22 this year.

I watched the Bears game, and I watched Ahman Green go 100+ through arguably the best Dline and defense in the league (with 2 rooks at G).

Favre won't get 20 more. He won't be given the opportunity. McCarthy has all but said he is going to try and reduce the number of INTs by reining Brett in. From what I observed from camp, he is hard on everyone, including Brett. He isn't going to take sh1t from Favre.

The Packers will SIT Favre? Are you kidding? Never will happen. Non Packer fans need to get that idea out of their heads right now. This will never happen as long as Brett Favre is on the active roster. The only way Brett will go out and A-Rodg will come in is if the Packers are either up by 50 points or down by 50 points. Neither is likely though.

Gravedigger is right, The Packers will never bench a healthy Farve unless he okays it first...there would be riots in the stands. As far as reigning in Farve, it didn't look like it Sunday, at the end he was throwing across his body and across the field, with the end result an INT.

Before you set your offense on A. Green, he was only 25 yards on 8 carries, until the score was 16-0 and at that point the Bears started playing ALL cover 2 loose zone as to not get beat by Farve, it is easy to rip off an 8 yd carry when it's 3 and 14. But it is easier to run block than it is to Pass block (at least thats what I've been told never had the size to play on the line) so it would be easier on the rookie gaurds.

DUH!  ANY team's defense would play to defend against the pass when they're up by that much!!!

YEAH......THATS MY POINT! I am just warning Packer fans against setting to much store in the 100 yards that A.Green produced against the Bears D....many of them were gifts.

That is exactly right. A ton of that yardage was garbage yardage. Keep that in mind when defensive rankings come out and the Bears look only slightly better than average ranking wise.

Under. They will never let him throw 29 this year. Trade him? Maybe. I hope they just let him rot on the bench.

Because they played the Raiders!!!  A pee-wee football team could have sacked Brooks nine times with that O-line, and play calling...Art Shell is a piece of sh#t, he failed the first time around and he will fail this time, I give him one more season, which seems to be the norm in Oakland these days...
