It was late in the 4th, maybe 4-5 minutes to go. Pats up 19-17, Brady throws another one of his horrendous INTs (like he always does in situations like this, especially in the playoffs. If you want examples just ask and I'll crush you.) But anyway, Whitner is running down the sideline, a flag is thrown for what appears to be block in the back, and one of the refs just stops the play as Whitner runs into the endzone. The explaination was that Whitner stepped out of bounds. The replay showed that Whitner wasn't even close to stepping out of bounds, especially later on in the return when he the ref called it, at the Pats 38. CBS showed the replay a few times and I didn't even see a block in the back, but I could very have missed it because I was looking where Whitner stepped out of bounds, which he didnt.
But anyway, the ref that blew the play dead could have caused an enormous uproar in the NFL if there was no penalty for block in the back. It would have made the Nick Saban flag play look like nothing. I saw this on "NFL Replay, Buffalo at New England" on NFL Network, it should be running a bunch more times this week so check it out when you get a chance. The Refs are getting worse.
I remember some of those interceptions that he has thrown (and fortunately, he doesn't throw them too often either). Like in that Monday night game against Miami in December of 2004 when he was about to take a sack and then just threw it up for grabs. And last year against Denver when he threw that BAD interception in the endzone to Champ Bailey (I think the Pats had another turnover after that as well). However, it's VERY uncharacteristic to see Brady do those sorts of things, and for the most part, he really comes up BIG when the game is on the line.
Pats turned the ball over 4 or 5 times in that Denver play-off game. That is uncommon though, and I will deal with it because they usually overcome it.

anyone who saw the Steelers v Seattle Superbowl has to know that the NFL referees have preferences. Big ones.
I'm a NE fan and know 100% they should've lost that game
