That was easily one of the ugliest games I have seen the Steelers play in years...Bad coaching, the O-line was horrible, Ben was rusty and off target, but still I cant take anything away from the Jags, their D was sick...
Cowher should his *** last night by repeatedly screaming at defensive players. God damn the defense gave up 6 points and he was all over them. Why doesn't he yell at Evil Kienivel like that.
Credit due to the jags, who beat the "SHEILAS" last year too, but No Bus and No Randle-El took away some critical elements of Pitt's basic game plan. The ability to pound the ball on the ground, spread the ball in the air, get good field position on punt returns and the threat of the trick play walked out the door with Bettis and Randle El. As a Bengals fan, I don't fear Pittsburgh any more.

Yes, the Steelers blitz was completely ineffective. Teams will be taking note.
And at what point from last year to this year did the Steelers forget how to fukn tackle?
GoBears I have a pet peave and that is when the defense gives up 6 points after being on the field all game and then people criticize them. We do not have a dominating defense. Thats not what we try to do. We play bend but dont break and dont give up points and big plays. And the defense did neither of those yesterday.
The offense looks sh*tty, but it is all going to depend on how Ben looks as the season goes on. Give JAX credit for playing great ball. They won the special teams battle, and moved the ball enough to get the points to win the game.
As far as next week vs. the bengals, we will have to wait and see how things unfold. I doubt we will play this poorly again.

You will after Sunday, the Jags Defense is on a different level than the Bungles, the steelers will have no problem running the ball against Cincy, and the Ben shouldnt be as rusty...
They already shut down LJ in week 1 and "willie the wino" parker said himself that he's not sure that he can carry the load of 25-30 carries every week. All the bengals have to do is smack willie in the mouth and wait for Big Brenda to cough it up. (We Get Turnovers) Oh, haven't they dropped 38 on your boys before?

I hate to get all Dr. Z on yall but the game last night was freakin awsome! I love hard hitting games like that. It's not necessarily fun to see the Steelers score 20 - 25 points against a weeker team like the Colts because they're basically stomping on them. This game was so hard hitting it was great.

However, Big Ben DOES look rusty coming off his "injury". And I also don't like the fact that the Stillers have a short week before for a BIG divisional showdown. Beyond that Cincy has proven that they can win in Pittsburgh. Taken all that into account, I like the Bengals in an upset this week!
I have also never been sold on Parker. I think for this team to have a shot at reaching the Superbowl again, they are going to have to use Heath Miller alot more than they have been. That should get some of the focus off Ward.
