strangle view

why is it that all the attention of the sports media seems to concentrate on how terrible things are for the raiders, titians ,packers, miami, etc. how about seeing more of how dominate the ravens have been w/ real qb., or how jacksonville isn't a fluke-- their game this wk. w/ colts is one to watch, how to stop the falcons w/ this wing option offense-- this may take a yr. or two for nfl defenses to ajust, unless they break mv.'s freekin legs, where more j. peppers are hiding. seriously, they the media just focus on the garbage teams and the players that get into off-field trouble. ps. how about some coverage on brad childress-- not often brand new coach and staff can get a team moving in the early going.

The media won't begin to turn their attentions to how good a team is doing until it can pin a lookie here medal upon it. 0-2 to any team (even a team playing good teams) still stands out much more than 2-0.

That double goes for all the hype surrounding Miami. Anytime one of the "Sexy preseason picks" that the so called experts brand as their peoples champ turns around and butt fuks them sideways with no vaseline so early in the season and makes them look like the complete no nothing mouth running losers that they are, they tend to be a little bit angry. Their retribution is making Daunte Culpepper (the guy who essentially is personally soiling their "Sexy Pick Status" with his broke dikd innacurate arm and no wheels to speak of) look and feel like an Idiot. Saban included.

Should the Ravens continue with their success, and should Mcnair continue to progress, you can bet that it will overshadow the sh1ttiness of those teams that you mentioned.

Which is all the more reason that they arent drinking any of that koolaid yet. They are too busy doing damage control from all of their terrible prognostications right now. And they sure don't want to jump on any new bandwagons too soon, though they all strive to be the guy that says "I told you so, so listen to me I know what I'm talking about."

That is because 2 wins does not mean much with 14 games to go, but 2 losses and your season could be over before it started, especially in the AFC.
