My friends and I are starting a campaign to encourage all Redskins fans flying in to New Orleans for the Dec. 17th game to fly in a little bit early, roll up their sleeves and help the Big Easy get back on it's feet. We have selected the St. Bernard Project as our target. The Parish of St. Bernard was almost completely wiped off of the map, 100% of its homes were rendered uninhabitable. It's citizens are ready to rebuild their lives.
The St. Bernard Project is an organization that is dedicated to getting it's 67,000 people home again. The project matches volunteers with families that need help renovating or rebuilding their homes and you work along side of them during the work. This is a great organization, and a truly noble cause. Let's take this opportunity to show New Orleans that Redskins fans are the best in the league.
