Yeah I completely agree shack. It's not like Haynsworth tripped over another guy and his foot slid across the Dallas guy's face cutting him. He saw a guy with no helmet on, probably the guy who had been beating him at the line, and he took him out of the game. STOMPED on his face. Didn't accidently step or tripped, he stomped. He willingly picked up his foot and lowered it with force on the guy's face.
Haynsworth deserves to be suspended for the whole year. It was one of the most un-sportsmanlike things I've seen in a long time, and thats an understatement. He doesn't deserve to wear that uniform and to be associated with the same league as great Americans like Pat Tillman. The whole thing sucks.
gentlemen I agree...should have been the whole year and I think his coach may extend it further. A bit of clarification....yes Kruetz did punch Rueben Brown in the jaw....once and broke it, when asked about it Brown said he had it coming...end of discussion.
These boys were semi-buzzed (at a police gun range...how? don't ask me)....a verbal disagreement followed by Brown laying hands on Kruetz....and the big O popped him. That is apple and oranges to this thing...Brown wasn't prone and looking away....they were face to face when O decked him, I doubt if you will hear the dallas guy say he had it coming.
good call....thats right it was Miller! (my bad...birthday was yesterday and stayed up late pickling the brain) but the facts remain the same....he said he had it coming! there is a huge difference between to guys getting in each others face and one of them punching the other...and ripping a prone guys hat off and starting to plow his dome! one is a shot....the other is a cheap shot

Agreed Iowa... Hayensworth's cheap shot was during a game after the play was clearly over. Olin and Fred's altercation occurred off the field. Miller could have sued, etc. But he obviously did something to deserve a sock in the jaw and did not.
