What is PFT's take on online gambling bill?

I'm sick of the religous right stomping on my rights.  I'd like to stomp on Bill Frist's balls!!!

You don't like Republican's Policy, then vote against them. A country that elects G.W. Dipsh1t a 2nd time has no right to complain.

Something bothering you? Do something about it, your whining, and a$$-sitting pegs you as a democrat from a million miles away. So here is a tip. The Democrats cannot get elected because they don't stand for anything. The entire Democrat platform is "We're not the Republicans", and that isn't going anywhere.

I am neither, I hate the "Right Wing" antics more than anyone, but we only have ourselves to blame.

I'm an Independent.  I emailed my representative in regards to this lame bill which got stuck onto the port bill so nobody could vote against it.  I do plenty.  I'm just looking for PFT's legal minds to weigh in on the subject.  Preferrably on the front page.

The PFT guys are lawyers, but not gamblers, so what makes you think they give a rough wad?

Gambling has always been a no-no in the US (with certain exceptions), the "internet" thing was nothing but a loophole that is finally being closed. If you want something to whine about, whine that it took the goverment a decade to crack-down on it.

There is a billboard in Somerville that advertises "local" gambling. The guy is in Mass, the clients are in Mass, but the "server" is off-shore. That is nothing but a scam, these people should go to prison like any other bookie would.

How do you know they don't wager on games?

Certain exceptions?  Horse racing, slots, lottery, casinos, cardrooms.......When is the gov going to crack down on these institutions.? They only passed this bill because they don't have their fingers in the pie.  Do yourself a favor and keep your mouth shut.  You obviously don't have a clue.

I think they are conducted fairly, but I agrere with what I think you're saying: There's nothing someone who dislikes what the typical "left" or "right" stand for can do. JBN acts all high and might as being an independent, so I'd like to ask: how many Independents have you successfully helped vote into office?

no.  my beliefs are far more radical than that.  i believe (know) there is outright voter fraud....from dead people voting to the removal of elligible voters from the rolls.  hacking diebold machines and the privitization of voting machines.  both parties are guilty of this behavior.

but your point has some merit as well.  why can only two candidates be supported?  toss in media manipulation of the electorate and politicians beholdin to private contributers and not their constituents.  the system is broke.

Not a single one, and do you seem me crying like a b1tch?

EXACTLY!

and yes, they are cracking down because their fingers are not in the pie. Certain factions would call that "tax evasion" at best.

I don't think the country voted for Bush once, let alone twice. Both elections were stolen, fair and square.
