Dennis Green = Choke

that awful crunching sound you hear is DeKnee Green trampling the hopes of another football franchise fan base and as usual he is throwing people under the bus. What a gutless piece of crap! His conservative play calling & prevent defense has cost another person their job.

The first head has rolled. Denny Green fired his offensive coordinator.

I agree man.  I don't mind Denny Green, but I don't think the O-coordinator is the problem.  I don't think replacing the O-coordinator permanantly with a QB's coach in mid-season is a smart idea.  Even though I don't know much about Kruczec, I still think this whole thing smells like ass.  I don't think it is going to make a difference when it comes to adding W's to the resume.

Denny is bad news.  He's classless.  There's a reason Minny signed Tice on, he was a better option than Green!

on every first down play in the 4th quarter, the cards ran the same play: edgerrin between the tackles for anywhere from 1 to minus 1 yards.

they might as well have just started their possessions on second down, or only given them three chances to get ten yards instead of four.

was that the o-coordinator, or was that green? ultimately, you've gotta hold the head coach accountable.

besides, we've all seen green swallow his playbook in the 4th quarter before (vikes versus falcons, in the nfccg that was supposed to give us the randall / elway super bowl we were all looking forward to). 4th quarter play calling last night was eerily similar to that game.

it's just ri-goddamm-diculous that this guy still coaches in the nfl.

Edgerrin James had  36 carries for 55 yards.

Do the math.......that means on 36 carries Edge carried the ball he reached a total of 165 feet.

Now divide the 165 feet by the number of carries (36) and you get a total of 4.5 "feet" per carry.

Assuming  Edge is approx 6 ft tall....with or without the dreads.....He could have stood at the line of scrimage (ball held at midsection..or 4 to 4 1/2 ft high) and fell down forward and still gained the same yardage

Saturn - Variety is the spice of life! You are entitled to your well thought out and well written views! And I appreciate them. And even sometimes agree!

I hope that I have made it clear it is not opposing viewpoints that raise my ire nor is it those who back teams I don't like. It is the mindless drivel of the unwashed bandwagon jumpers and team backers who know NOTHING about the sport or its history who flame the boards with their ill concieved thoughts of the day.

4.5 feet = 1.5 yards

Here's what I can conclude from last night's game...Good football teams find ways to win football games, while bad teams find ways to lose them. BOTTOM LINE!
