I would put the EAGLES on that list. Also I might put the Steelers on that list as well, although I think they'll find a way to beat Denver at home next Sunday.
I Dont think the eagles are done yet. I hate them, and hope they are, but i think they come back strong in te second half and make the playoffs. and where they go from there we will see.

Considering how BRUTAL their second half schedule is, I don't know how they'll be able to make up the necessary ground in order to get themselves back into the hunt. I'm sorry, but I just can't see it. Plus, I think there are just too many holes on this football team right now for them to make a serious charge. I'm still on the EAGLES bandwagon, but I'd have to admit, after what I saw this past Sunday, I think they're DONE!

A couple of reasons:
1. The game is in Pittsburgh and I think the Stillers are embarassed after what happened this past Sunday and will come out inspired in front of their home crowd. 2. Their BIG pass rush has the capability of forcing Plummer into mistakes.
The Eagles almost always lose going into the bye and win coming out. That said, the schedule isn't as tough as people say since the NFC East isn't as strong as some thought. I still figure them be 8-8 whe all is said and done, but if they start using their hearts and their heads they could still go on a run. It's not like they don't have the personnel.
Washington twice.
Carolina is beatable.
They owe the Giants one and they could easily fall apart for Coughlin again.
Dallas, it's a toss up.
Atlanta at the end of the season when their D has traditionally fallen apart.
So Indianapolis is the scariest one there, really.

I'm feeling 8-8. I think both Wash. games should be wins, They may need the Atlanta game and CAN stop them, but will they is the question. Carolina is a dicey one to pick at this point, and the other two divisional games are too, but that's four possibles and I think two wins is realistic. Indy is penned as a loss. Even if they stay close for most of the game their clock management sucks and they will inevitably leave too much time on the clock for a Peyton Manning special.

Washington is a very dangerous team still. They will play spoiler in that division. A team with that much talent will get it together for at least a few games every year to fuk it up for someone.

And Tennessee has been playing a bit better as of late too.
it's gut check time in so many ways for everyone on this eagles team.
sure, it's make or break for this season, but it's also make or break for this nucleus, and that includes players and coaches, some of whom have been here for years.
they've had blindingly brilliant stints and embarassingly awful stints (the latter in greater quantities recently....a bad sign). if they keep playing like this, they may win a few more clunkers, and 8 - 8 is a pipe dream.
but if they start executing successfully again ,the way we've seen them do (on both sides of the ball), they could get to 8 and 8. the schedule's brutal.
all i want from them is to go out there and play like their lives depend on it...show some heart, show some pride, tear someone's head off. but most of all, for god's sake, DON'T let other teams come to the Linc and push you around, iggles. don't be emabarrassing, be TOUGH!

That's very possible, but it might only take a couple years or some new coaching (person or philosophy) to put a team around Donovan that can really compete again. If you start with a good QB I think there's a better chance of competing. Defense wins championships, well one anyway, but those are the fluke years, I'm talking to you Ravens!
I think the Eagles have the personnel, but there is some serious fire lacking on the D side, and maybe preparation and schemes. A new guy there could change things rather quickly, if he's any good. On the O side that's ALLLLLLLL Andy. No running game and can't identify quality recievers, though there's some good ones now compared to other years. He brought them to 4 consecutive NFC championships and a Super Bowl, so it's tough to argue, but something needs to change. Maybe he needs a O coordinator who isn't a puppet.
Now the Falcons seem to be in their best years. But the D needs to keep it up all year and if you lose Crumpler the O probably drops off significantly against contenders. But maybe this is their year. Maybe Vick keeps passing and they do it. I guess will see, but I'm realistic either way. If Vick gets injured and Schaub produces will you be off his infected tip? Or do you think Schaub is/isn't the answer?
