Indy's D is very weak this year and the Pats have their D back in shape. Indy beat them last year because the Pats D (the secondary in particular) was all f-ed due to injury.
The Pats O is now starting to click on all cylinders and the tandem of Dillon (who is healthy this year) and Maroney, combined with their solid O-Line will be able to run on the Colts weak run D very effectively. Additionally, Indy's secondary is missing BOTH of their starting safety's........Brady will be able to pick them apart passing as well.
The Pats D has always been Kriptonite to Manning.......look at the record. Last year was an aboration because of all the Pats injuries......the Pats D is now back in form..........
Manning is awesome......but the Colts are now a one dimensional passing team and the Pats will have no problem stuffing the Colts running aspirations......particularly since the Pats D-line/run D is as solid as it's ever been. Having Rodney Harrison back and the maturation (and health) of the secondary will make this a far different game for Peyton than last year.
The Pats have solved this puzzle many times before.......they will do it again on Sunday night.
I have to go with the Pats as well, first off, because I am a huge homer.
But from my POV I can't figure why the Colts are undefeated as of right now. If you can't stop the run, you should never get to touch the ball.
Manning can't score when the Colts defense is on the field, and if they can't stop the run, then I would NEVER, EVER pass against them. Hit the Colts with the run over and over until they can stop it.
If you hit a long pass for a score, all you are doing is giving Manning time to return the favor.

It WILL be fun to watch!
What's the saying???.....That's why they play the games
Turnovers, mistakes and untimely penalties......the results.....a 27 to 20 loss. Sloppiest game I've seen them put in offensively in a long time. The Pats are usually very disciplined and execute well......not last night. YUK!
I hope Peyton Manning doesn't get a big forehead over this.
Yeah, I agree about your assessment on this game. You're not gonna win football games turning the ball over that much (no matter how good your stats are)! Also, I think offensively, they got a little too impatient; they should have stayed with their ground attack. If they did that, I think they would have been able to control the game better.
