It wouldn’t surprise me if Parcells and Jones are consciously playing mind games with T.O. They know what they got when they signed him. So maybe they just agreed between themselves to play rope-a-dope with the guy. The fact that management’s hot buttons aren’t being pressed with T.O.’s shenanigans probably drives him crazy. Expect even more goofy behavior by Owens as he seeks the spotlight that Parcells apparently refuses to give him.
I doubt that Jones Owens to the big contract to play mind games with him, unless he feels it's necessary to get him to play well, but I have no idea how that would work. Parcells, on the other hand, just hates the guy. Be all that as it may, the Cowboys are still the most overhyped team in the league, and will remain so the rest of the season.
