Most Overrated
(Preview)
There's a nice "underrated" thread going, so why not start an "overrated" one, right? I've said it on this here message board already, so rather than reinvent the wheel, here's the text I posted over the summer, in response to Ninja's suggestion that the 'phins are the most overrated team. Basically...

Volek or Collins...
(Preview)
Most of you probably don't care, but who do you think will be starting for the titans on Sun.? Every media outlet has said it would be a shock if Collins didn't start, but Fisher is keeping quiet. They just tried trading Volek last Sat. to San Diego, would you really start a guy you just tried trading a week...

Anyone catch PTI today?
(Preview)
Jason Whitlock told a story about how 6 or 7 years ago he lost a girlfriend because she "porky pigged" with Derrick Thomas the LB and then he took her back a month later.
Why would you tell that story on national TV? It wasn't even relevant to what they were talking about, lol what a sucka.

Bears fans, any wagers on the game?
(Preview)
Any wagers on the big game Sunday? It's bold for the Packer fan to call out the Bears fans this year, but I'm doin it. Not a big wager, something stupid though. Any ideas? If your not a Bears or Packers fan, I don't care what you have to say.
Alex Brown probably is going to get limited action, and Isr...

Not exactly a feel good story . . .
(Preview)
The Steve Foley saga , , , where does one start? A couple of sign posts (no pun intended) are clearly marked: Don't drink and drive, Don't weave in an out of traffic at 90 mph, and for christ-sakes, don't ever do either at 3:00am! Nothing good ever happens behind...

football language
(Preview)
i know i haven't played pro footbal, but as I understand it they use colors and numbers and other things to make plays work.
Why have they not gone to a language that is not english, so that the competition desn't have a clue as to what they are saying. I would think that it wouldn't be to difficult to te...

Doug Gabriel
(Preview)
The Pats picked up WR Doug Gabriel in a trade with Oakland for a 5th round draft pick.
This would appear to be a steal by the Pats just at face value. But considering the glaring need they have WR and the precarious situation with Deion Branch, it seems all that more a great move.

Charles Rogers
(Preview)
Ok so I'm not surprised that he got cut, I am surprised that he was the2nd overall pick. My old roommate said that this guy was "sick, just sick" in college. Was he really good enough to be the 2nd overall pick? Hell, given his awful performance in the pros I'd say a fourth rd pick would have been too much.

So After my 10th Long Island I hit the dance floor. Now I'm too fukd up to dance at this point, but hey, not for lack of trying. I fancy myself quite a mover on the floor...usually.
